We organise community fitness and running events, including but not limited to the On A Plod event series.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By:

  • purchasing a ticket
  • registering for an event
  • attending or participating in an event
  • accessing our website

You confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by:

  • these Terms & Conditions
  • the Event Terms & Participant Waiver
  • any event-specific instructions issued by On A Plod

If you do not agree, you must not participate.

3. Eligibility

Participants must:

  • be 18 years or older unless explicitly stated
  • be legally capable of entering a binding agreement
  • be physically capable of participating in endurance exercise

Participants accept that they take part entirely at their own risk.

4. Tickets & Bookings

All tickets are non-refundable except where required by UK consumer law.

Tickets may not be:

  • resold for profit
  • transferred without permission
  • used for commercial promotions without consent

Booking fees are non-refundable.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or cancel tickets where misuse is suspected.

5. Event Changes, Postponement & Cancellation

We reserve the right to modify:

  • event dates
  • start times
  • event formats
  • course routes
  • venue layouts
  • partner activations or facilities

Events may be cancelled, postponed or modified due to circumstances outside our control including but not limited to:

  • weather conditions
  • public safety concerns
  • venue restrictions
  • governmental restrictions
  • operational or safety considerations

Where an event cannot proceed as planned we may offer:

  • transfer to another event
  • event credit
  • partial or full refund at our discretion

Booking fees are non-refundable.

6. Participation in Public Spaces

Participants acknowledge that On A Plod events may take place in public spaces that remain open to the public, including roads, pavements, parks and shared pathways.

Participants may encounter:

  • pedestrians
  • cyclists
  • vehicles
  • animals
  • uneven surfaces
  • environmental hazards

Participants accept full responsibility for their own awareness, navigation and safety while participating.

7. Personal Property

Participants attend entirely at their own risk.

On A Plod Ltd accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property including but not limited to:

  • clothing
  • phones
  • watches
  • equipment
  • bags left in bag drop areas

Bag drops are provided as a convenience only and items remain the responsibility of the participant.

8. Intellectual Property

All On A Plod branding, designs, logos, content and event materials remain the property of On A Plod Ltd.

They may not be reproduced, copied or used without written permission.

9. Photography, Film & Media

Participants grant On A Plod Ltd the irrevocable and unrestricted right to:

  • photograph
  • film
  • record

their participation in events.

These materials may be used for:

  • marketing
  • promotional content
  • commercial activity
  • social media
  • broadcast

without compensation.

10. Data Protection

Participant information may be collected and processed for:

  • event administration
  • safety management
  • communication
  • marketing (where consent is provided)

Data will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws.

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to this, On A Plod Ltd accepts no liability for:

  • loss of earnings
  • loss of enjoyment
  • personal injury arising from participation risks
  • indirect or consequential losses

Participation is entirely voluntary and undertaken at the participant's own risk.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
